Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information we collect on fundingforsellers.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version, in plain English: we collect what you give us in the matching form and your dashboard, we share it with a lender only when you approve that specific introduction, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@fundingforsellers.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you use our matching form or create an account: your name, email address, business revenue range, time in business, sales platforms, funding needs, timeline, and priorities. If you use your dashboard, we also store documents you choose to upload (such as bank statements or financial summaries) and messages you send us.

Store and financial data connections. If and when you choose to connect a commerce platform or financial account, we collect the operational data needed to produce normalized business metrics (such as revenue trends and inventory velocity). Connection credentials are encrypted at rest, are never displayed or shared, and connections can be revoked by you instantly, at which point data access stops immediately.

Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we use analytics tools — Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel — that collect device and usage information via cookies, including pages visited, referral source, and campaign parameters. We use this to understand how people find and use the Site and to measure advertising. You can limit this with browser settings, ad-blocking tools, or platform-level ad preferences (Google and Meta each provide opt-outs).

How we use information

• To match your business profile against lending partners' criteria and show you potential fits;
• To make introductions to lenders — only those you explicitly approve;
• To operate your dashboard, send transactional email (confirmations, sign-in links, status updates), and respond to your messages;
• To operate, measure, and improve the Site and our marketing;
• To comply with law and protect against fraud and abuse (including anti-bot measures on our forms).

How we share information

With lenders: only on your say-so. Before you approve an introduction, lenders see at most anonymized ranges (such as a revenue band and platform mix) — never your name or contact information. When you approve an introduction to a specific lender, that lender receives your profile and contact details. Data from connected accounts is shared only under a permission you grant, limited to the scope you grant, and revocable instantly. Every lender access to connected data is logged.

With service providers. We use vendors to run the Site: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), transactional email (Resend), customer relationship management (HubSpot), and analytics (Google, Meta). They process data on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations.

Otherwise: we do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data.

Retention and security

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, then for a reasonable period consistent with legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention needs. Connection credentials are encrypted with AES-256; access to production systems is restricted; normalized metrics are stored without personally identifying details. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we treat your business data the way we'd want ours treated.

Your choices and rights

• Access, correction, deletion: email hello@fundingforsellers.com and we'll handle it. Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws), you may have formal rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data — we honor reasonable requests from anyone regardless of jurisdiction.
• Revoking lender access: instant, from your dashboard, no grace period.
• Marketing email: every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages (sign-in links, introduction confirmations) are sent as needed to operate your account.

Children

The Site is for business use and not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the product evolves and change the effective date above. Material changes will be flagged on the Site or by email.
